BARRY WOODHOUSE  my equipment and me. this is my equipment that i am useing now  with  a   DSLR  CAMERA  celestron ultima 100 ed scope nikon D3200 the camera is attached direct to the eyepiece via a T2 MOUNT ADAPTER . this is where celestron scopes are easy as they have threads on the end of the eyepiece where the adapter screws onto and the camera body screws onto the other end like a normal camera lens                                                                                          but with this method you will get a message come up on your camera screen no lens attached the olny way this will work is that you have to use the camera in manual mode ( m ) on the dial but with a lot of time practise and patience you can achive re

USEING A COMPACT CAMERA

YOU CAN ALSO USE A COMPACT CAMERA FOR DIGISCOPING WHICH  IS BETTER FOR BEGINERS TO START WITH . USEING  A  LENS

BELOW IS AN IMAGE OF A 18-55MM LENS ATTACHED TO THE SCOPE VIS A STEPING RING WITH ONE SIDE SCREWING ONTO THE THREADS ON THE END OF THE EYEPIECE AND THE OTHER SIDE SLOTS INTO THE CAMERA BODY LIKE A NORMAL LENS
